Hello. My name is Jan. I am a retired school teacher/school librarian. I enjoyed 33 years in a wonderful career. But being a wife, mother, and grandmother have always been my most important role. Being retired gives me the time to ‘ blog’ about lessons learned along the way. Not because I have it all together. Because I am officially older and wiser. The ‘wiser’ part is because I have learned so much the hard way. My friend, Gwen always says I could be “Lucy”. Some of my mistakes are pretty hilarious, but some mistakes have cost me dearly. Rather than dwell on past failures, we should look to our faith in Jesus to help us to change and embrace the future God has in store for believers.
